Pioneer Strategies’ Frank Williams elected

president of Raleigh Public Relations Society

 

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS) recently elected the following officers for 2006-07:

  • President:  Frank Williams, president of Pioneer Strategies.  Williams previously served as vice president of RPRS.

  • Vice President:  Joe Mecca, director of community & corporate relations with Coastal Federal Credit Union.  Mecca previously served as awards chair for RPRS.

  • Secretary:  Stephanie Lee, project coordinator with Capstrat. 

  • Treasurer:  Becky Wrisley, director of communication for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina.

  • Hospitality Chair:  Amy Needham, account executive with Crossroads Public Relations.

  • Public Relations/Newsletter Chair:  Chris Tutino, account executive with Smith and Associates Public Relations/Advertising.

  • Web Chair:  Jay Strickland, owner of WingSwept Communications, Inc.

  • Awards Chair:  Megan Henderson, president of Looking Glass Communications.  Henderson previously served as banquet chair for RPRS. 

  • Banquet Chair:   Katy Hipp, director of communication for the Pines of Carolina Girl Scout Council.  Hipp previously served as secretary of RPRS.

  • Members at Large:  Jodi Peeler, director of alumni relations with the Campbell University School of Pharmacy, and RPRS immediate past president Chuck Norman, vice president of Smith & Associates.
