Pioneer Strategies’ founder attends NFIB Small Business Day at the Capital in Raleigh

LELAND, N.C. — Frank Williams, founder and lead strategist of Pioneer Strategies, attended the National Federation of Independent Business’ 2017 “Small Business Day at the Capital” April 12 in Raleigh. The keynote speaker was U.S. Senator Thom Tillis.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our nation’s economy, and I want to see our small business community grow and prosper,” said Williams.  “Far too often, small businesses are unnecessarily burdened by overbearing regulations enacted by people who have never managed a business themselves. NFIB plays an important role in advocating on behalf of small businesses throughout North Carolina and the nation. I was glad to be able to attend this event, and I appreciate the fact that Senator Tillis took time out of his busy schedule to be with us.”

About Frank Williams

Frank Williams is a native of Brunswick County and a 1988 graduate of North Brunswick High School.  He earned a B.A. in Communication from N.C. State University in 1993. Williams was named to the National Federation of Independent Business’ North Carolina Leadership Council in 2014. He has served on the Brunswick Community College Small Business Advisory Committee and the board of directors of Communities in Schools of Brunswick County, Inc.  Williams also served as a board member and economic development chair for the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce and as president of the Leland Area Rotary Club.  In 2006, he received the N.C. State University Department of Communication’s Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award.
